How we operate

Three Stages.
One Mission.

A disciplined three-stage process that ensures maximum efficiency, reduced risk, and sustainable value creation across every pod, section, and network of wells we touch.

01
Phase One
Identify

We identify the recovery opportunity across existing pods, networks, and sections — not one wellbore at a time. Production data, reservoir characteristics, and well performance are assessed across the entire section. We size the opportunity, select the right candidates, and build the case for pod-level treatment.

02
Phase Two
Design

We engineer a recovery playbook for the entire pod or section — treatment formulation, volume, sequencing, and timing designed across the network so each wellbore reinforces the next. No cookie-cutter approaches. Every pod gets its own playbook.

03
Phase Three
Deploy

We treat the section, the pod, the network — and we get it back online together. Real-time production monitoring at every wellbore delivers instant feedback so the team can adjust in the field. Operators see measurable results fast — across the full pod, not just one well.

What we deploy

Technology Built
for Every Basin.

Four proven treatment categories. Each engineered for specific reservoir conditions across all major US producing basins.

01 — Treatment
Matrix Stimulation

Near-wellbore cleanout restores reservoir connectivity and removes damage that chokes production from existing assets.

02 — Treatment
Wettability Control

Alters rock surface chemistry to improve fluid flow — particularly effective in mature waterfloods and tight formations.

03 — Treatment
Huff & Puff EOR

Cyclic injection and production sequences unlock additional recovery from unconventional wells with minimal capital.

04 — Treatment
High Energy EOR

High-volume tertiary recovery programs designed for fields ready to maximize long-term extraction rates at scale.

Why OilRecon USA

Better Chemistry.
More Benefits.
Every Well.

OilRecon USA enters the reservoir differently — and deploys across the entire pod.

OilRecon USA
  • ✓ Slicker, wetter chemistry — deeper reservoir contact, superior fluid mobilization
  • ✓ Pod and network deployment — returns multiply across every well in the section
  • ✓ Sustained production restoration — engineered for long-term recovery not short-term rate
  • ✓ Agile operator model — customized playbook, fast execution, no corporate overhead
  • ✓ Four treatment categories — matched to each reservoir, each pod, each basin
  • ✓ Instant feedback and measurable results — operators see production response this quarter, not next year
Deeper.
Our wettability chemistry penetrates further into the reservoir matrix — mobilizing more hydrocarbons per treatment than conventional surfactant systems.
Broader.
Pod-level deployment means one engagement treats an entire section. Where others treat one well, we restore a network — and operators see it across the whole asset.
Longer.
Sustained production restoration — not a temporary rate bump. Our formulations are engineered for long-term reservoir recovery, not short-term production spikes.
Instant.
Operators see measurable production response fast — not months from now. Real-time wellbore monitoring means immediate feedback, field-level adjustments, and results that show up this quarter.

Execution at
the Wellhead.

OilRecon USA field teams work directly at the wellbore — coordinating treatment delivery, monitoring real-time production response, and ensuring every barrel of optimization is captured and documented for the operator.

That’s one wellhead. Now multiply it.

Every pad.
Every well.
Every basin.

The Permian Basin alone hosts nearly 48,000 horizontal producing wells across 86,000 square miles. Each one is a candidate for OilRecon USA pod-level treatment — with no new capital investment required from the operator.

US Basin Coverage.

OilRecon USA deploys enhanced oil recovery treatments across every major producing basin in the United States. Our pod-level treatment approach and proven wettability chemistry work across unconventional shale, tight oil, and conventional reservoir types — from the Permian to the Marcellus and everywhere in between.

Treatment deployment
Permian Basin, West Texas

Permian Basin

West Texas & Southeast New Mexico. The largest oil producing basin in the US. OilRecon USA targets Wolfcamp, Bone Spring, and conventional Permian formations across the Midland and Delaware sub-basins.

Eagle Ford

South Texas. A prolific oil and condensate shale play. OilRecon USA's wettability treatments are highly effective in the oil-wet, tight carbonate Eagle Ford formation.

Bakken

North Dakota & Montana. One of the largest tight oil plays in North America. Our Middle Bakken and Three Forks treatments restore production in oil-wet formations that have undergone natural decline.

DJ Basin

Colorado & Wyoming. Home to the Niobrara and Codell formations. OilRecon USA's pod-level approach is well-suited to the stacked pay development common across the Denver-Julesburg Basin.

Marcellus / Utica

Pennsylvania, West Virginia & Ohio. The most productive natural gas basin in the US. OilRecon USA's condensate and liquids-rich treatments unlock additional recovery across both the Marcellus and Utica formations.

Haynesville

Louisiana & East Texas. A major natural gas shale play. OilRecon USA's high-pressure wettability treatments are engineered for the deep, high-temperature Haynesville conditions.

Mid-Continent

Oklahoma & Kansas. Includes the SCOOP, STACK, Mississippian Lime, and Woodford plays. OilRecon USA's flexible treatment portfolio addresses the diverse reservoir types across the Mid-Continent region.

Uinta Basin

Utah. A waxy crude oil basin with unique reservoir challenges. OilRecon USA's wettability alteration chemistry is particularly effective at addressing the flow assurance issues common in Uinta crude production.

Powder River Basin

Wyoming. An emerging tight oil play targeting the Niobrara, Mowry, and Turner formations. OilRecon USA's pod-level treatment approach scales efficiently across the large pad developments common in the PRB.

Austin Chalk

Texas & Louisiana. A naturally fractured carbonate formation undergoing a horizontal drilling renaissance. OilRecon USA's matrix stimulation and wettability treatments restore connectivity across fractured chalk reservoirs.

Barnett

North Texas. The original US shale play with thousands of mature producing wells. A large inventory of declining Barnett wells are prime candidates for OilRecon USA pod-level production restoration.

Niobrara

Colorado, Wyoming & Kansas. A stacked carbonate shale play across the Rockies. OilRecon USA's treatments target the multiple Niobrara benches — A, B, and C — across both the DJ Basin and Powder River footprints.
